I warmly invite you to explore the interactive dashboards accompanying my academic publications.
Projects:
- Disinflation Dashboard - Track the breadth and persistence of inflation pressures across European economies. The dashboard combines indicators of price increases across the consumption basket, contributions from sticky and flexible prices, and wage-related internet searches. Together, these tools help assess whether disinflation is broad-based and identify early signs of renewed price and wage pressures.
- Shapiro's Inflation Decomposition - Supply and Demand Factors - Explore the supply and demand forces behind inflation across 37 European economies. Drawing on the Shapiro / ECB approach, the dashboard uses granular Bayesian VAR models and sign restrictions to separate HICP inflation into supply-driven, demand-driven, and ambiguous components. It provides a framework for comparing inflation drivers across countries and tracking how their contributions evolve over time.
- MIDAS Food Prices Forecasting Dashboard - Monitor food inflation nowcasts for all 27 EU member states, covering the overall food basket and nine product categories. The dashboard combines weekly agricultural price data with monthly HICP statistics using U-MIDAS and seasonal models. Explore forecast drivers, compare nowcasts with historical seasonal patterns, and follow within-month revisions as new data become available.
- CEE Taylor Rule Utility - Compare central bank policy rates in Poland, Czechia, Hungary, and Romania with Taylor-rule benchmarks and country-specific estimates. The dashboard combines historical analysis with four-quarter projections under unchanged macroeconomic conditions. Interactive controls let users test alternative policy responses and neutral real interest rate assumptions, including scenarios in which one central bank follows another’s estimated rule.
